Earley sits on the south-eastern edge of Reading, bordering Woodley to the east and Shinfield to the south. It's a large residential area covering Lower Earley — one of Europe's largest housing estates built through the 1970s–90s — as well as the older village core, the streets around Earley station and Maiden Place, and the Loddon Vale area towards Winnersh.
